Thursday Tag #11: Blogger Stats Book Tag

Hey guys!

It has been awhile since I posted book reviews and book tags! This is because I am currently busy with my final year project preparation so I have to do a lot of scientific reading for my proposal and presentation 🙂

I ran out of ideas to do book tags, so I went and search on the net and this one intrigued me! So here you go, this is my Blogger Stats Book Tag!

The Last Three Books You Read?

Book 1 to Book 3 of the Harry Potter series! 🙂

This series has a special place in my heart ❤

Spoilers or spoiler free?

Spoiler free! Usually I will write reviews without major book spoilers because people who have not read the particular book would not want to be spoiled! However, I think my reviews will be more critical and significant if I write spoiler reviews. It is fine with me since I want to encourage more people who haven’t read them to read!

How long have you been book blogging?

Since end of July 2017. I am actually still new to the world, but I have met the nicest book people in this WordPress community!

A book you read in one sitting?

Never in my life I had read a book in one sitting! To those who have done it, you are all awesome people! 🙂 I will face back aches from sitting too long :/

Your favourite genre?

I love reading Fantasy and Contemporary always 🙂

Preferred book size? (novella, tome…etc.)

I like books which are not too long and too short. An average book of 200 pages will do for me! A bonus point for the book if the condition of book is flimpsy! I love flimpsy books because they are much easier to read when laying on bed hehe.

Amount of books on your TBR?

I have 11 books on my TBR right now. But I think the amount has doubled because they are so many good book releases now!!

A book you have DNF’d?

I DNF’d Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn because I think the book and environment setting are not my cup of tea :/

Recent awards or milestones?

I don’t usually announce my number of followers to people but today I officially reach 131 followers in the span of 3 months of blogging! I am so grateful that they are actually people who read my blog even though my posts are quite mediocre :/ I am very grateful for this opportunity and I honestly appreciate every one of you 🙂

I received a few awards and nominations from lovely bloggers, such as The Sunshine Blogger Award 2017Liebster Award 2017, and Mystery Blogger Award! I also received two other nominations such as Awesome Blogger Award and The Blogger Recognition Award!

Best interaction with an author you enjoy?

I never actually encounter authors face to face but they are a number of times when I tweeted something about my favourite book and they were nice enough to favourite/like my tweets!

Average number of books you read per month?

I guess 2 books per month, when I am in the mood. This year is my worst year of reading ever! I only managed to read 11 books this year up till now :/

Top three publishers?

To be honest, authors are much more important to me, and I don’t choose books based on publishers! If the book is good, I will just give it a try without knowing the publisher is!

Social media sites your blog uses?

Twitter and Instagram!

Average amount of time you spend networking?

I find by having a book blog, the ultimate struggle is to be consistent! By being consistent, time is major deal. Without having enough time, you will not be able to write posts, engage with followers, keep up with friend’s blog and posts and many more!

I spend at least 2 hours just to engage with people by commenting and liking their blogs. This is not including the time where I write blog posts, that will be much longer.

Most comfortable blogging position?

On my desk with enough light to work.

Music or quiet when writing reviews?

I don’t mind hearing people talking and noises while I write! However, I do appreciate quite situations.

A blog you looked up to starting out?

I don’t have a particular favourite, but I adore people who write blog posts and work full time at the same moment like some people!

The best book you have reviewed so far?

My best book that I have reviewed was Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (J.K. Rowling)! I received many views and likes at the same time! 🙂 Honestly my favourite books to review is from the Harry Potter series!

Check out my reviews for other Harry Potter stories as well! 🙂

Harry Potter and Philosopher’s Stone (J.K. Rowling)

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (J.K. Rowling)

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (J.K Rowling)

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two (J.K. Rowling, John Tiffany and Jack Thorne)

Best piece of blogging advice?

Just do your best and good things will come to you! Be honest, sincere, and DO NOT CHASE THE NUMBER OF FOLLOWERS AND LIKES! Always be happy for what you have!

That’s it, My Blogger Stats Book Tag! I always find pleasure in writing these kind of tags, because I discover new things from myself!

Till next post ❤
