Greetings Book People!
I am very sorry for the late post, because I am currently busy with preparations for university and busy eating Eid food as well 😛 My semester break is finally coming to an end, and I would like to take this opportunity to write another Thursday Tag which is the Wonder Women Book Tag! I was not tagged by anyone, but I thought why not do this?
Without further a due, let’s get into it! 🙂
1. WONDER WOMAN: YOUR FAVORITE BADASS FEMALE BOOK CHARACTER
My answer is Shahrzad from The Wrath and The Dawn series! She is such a badass with her style. She is so perfect in her own words and will. She is so good in compromising, negotiating with people and quick in thinking. All in all, she is very intelligent and a strong female character. I wonder how it feels to be in her shoes one day?
2. FANTASY ISLAND: A BOOK SETTING YOU WANT TO ESCAPE TO
Just let me enter this magical world, please!
3. LONDON: A HYPED BOOK THAT LET YOU DOWN
This is going to be Paper Towns, by John Green. I honestly think the movie is better than the book itself. There were so much hype about this book during the movie’s production back in 2015, and that was pretty much the reason why I picked it up. I just didn’t get it why John Green wrote that story and I felt like the characters were flat too. I too didn’t understand the meaning and reason behind the story line because for every book I read, I will always find the reason why the author write his/her story. I could not fathom on what is really his intention of writing Paper Towns.
4. STEVE TREVOR: A BOOK THAT HAS A BEAUTIFUL COVER AND A GREAT STORY (I.E. GREAT PERSONALITY)
Wing Jones is one of the most beautiful book cover out there in the YA book community! I just love the ombre pages that shines and colours the book! The story itself is so meaningful and strong to be followed and heard by the society. I look forward for more Katherine Webber’s masterpieces in the future!
5. LASSO OF TRUTH: A BOOK YOU HATED
I had heard so many great things about Looking for Alaska, but unfortunately I could not connect with the story at all! I didn’t like the characters because they were so flat and they existed in the story without any proper and subtle reason. I try to like John Green’s story, but it does not seem to work for me.
6. WONDER WOMAN’S SHIELD: A BOOK SO SAD YOU NEED A SHIELD
One word book, ALLEGIANT. After reading, I cried for three days. THREE FREAKING DAYS! I was disappointed with the ending so much that I have decided to never reread the series again! I don’t understand why the ending was horrible.
7. NO MAN’S LAND: A BOOK THAT YOU WANT TO SEND THROUGH NO MAN’S LAND (I.E. SHOOT IT TO DEATH)
Same answer with Number 6. Worst ending EVER!
8. ARES: A VILLAIN THAT IS SCARY, BUT YOU CAN’T SEEM TO HATE
I think I don’t have an answer for this. For me, all villains are cruel and I will hate them with all of my heart even though they are redeemable at the end of the story! Bad things will always be bad for people and there is no exception!
9. DR. POISON: A VILLAIN THAT HAS NO REASON TO EXIST
The worst character ever written, Dolores Umbridge from the Harry Potter series! I think she is more terrible than Voldemort himself, because she hates Harry Potter without any reason! I hate her so much, because if we were to have someone like her in the ministry, all of the governor’s minds will be corrupted by her foolish and corrupted agenda!!
10. THE AMAZONS: A BOOK THAT YOU WISH HAD MORE/BETTER LGBT+ REPRESENTATION
I wish there are more LGBT+ representation in this series! I think the series will stand out more with better LGBT+ representations!
11. JUSTICE LEAGUE: WHAT SUPERHERO BOOK FRIENDS DO YOU TAG?
I am tagging:
I cannot wait to read your answers! ❤
Okay, that is my Wonder Women Book Tag! Honestly I have not watched this movie yet *hides* but this tag is so fun to do!
Till next time!
